Months of Twitter leaks have finally led to the release of the first teaser for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’. The clip officially dropped online, giving fans a stylish glimpse of all the drama set to unfold. The teaser opens with Meryl Streep’s iconic Miranda Priestly striding down the halls of Runway magazine in striking red stilettos. As the elevator doors close, she’s joined by her former assistant Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway.

The highly anticipated sequel picks up years after the events of the 2006 classic, following Miranda as she battles to maintain her influence in a digital world where print journalism is fading fast. According to Variety, the film will see her face off against her toughest rival – Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant who’s now a high-powered executive at a luxury fashion empire, controlling the advertising money Miranda needs to keep Runway alive.Returning alongside Streep, Hathaway, and Blunt are Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms, and Tibor Feldman. Kenneth Branagh joins the cast as Priestly’s husband, while ‘Bridgerton’ breakout Simone Ashley appears in a mystery role. Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, Justin Theroux, Pauline Chalamet, and Patrick Brammall also join the ensemble cast.
