The St Petersburg State University in Russia is launching a course in Malayalam language and literature in collaboration with the University of Kerala.
Ratheesh C. Nair, Honorary Consul of Russia in Thiruvananthapuram, and Director, Russian House, handed over the signed MoU to Minister for Higher Education R. Bindu recently.
Under the MoU, the faculty will be trained in Kerala. Both universities will also collaborate on student and faculty exchange programmes. University of Kerala Vice-Chancellor Mohanan Kunnummal, Registrar K.S. Anil Kumar and University Syndicate members were present.
