Note: At the behest of Stipendiary Stewards, an inquiry was conducted into this race. It was observed that shortly after the start, Demetrius (ridden by Bhawani) reared up and the handler was unable to remove the horse’s blindfold in time. As a result, Demetrius lost significant ground. After interviewing the starter and the jockey, the stewards declared the horse a non-starter. Consequently, all bets placed on Demetrius were refunded.
