Sam Raimi is back in his horror groove with Send Help, a darkly comic survival thriller starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien. 20th Century Studios dropped the film’s first trailer this week, offering a glimpse of corporate rivalry turned deadly after a plane crash leaves two coworkers stranded on a deserted island.

McAdams stars as Linda Liddle, an overlooked employee suddenly forced to rely on her ruthless boss, Bradley Preston (O’Brien), when their flight to a company retreat ends in disaster. As the trailer teases, what begins as a fight for survival quickly devolves into a twisted battle of egos, with Linda proving that her real-world grit may be far deadlier than her boss’s boardroom bluster.
Send Help marks Raimi’s return to the genre that made him famous, following Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, and Drag Me to Hell. The film is penned by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, the writing duo behind Baywatch, and produced by Raimi and Zainab Azizi under Raimi Productions. The ensemble cast also features Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Edyll Ismail, Thaneth Warakulnukroh, and Emma Raimi.
Set for theatrical release on January 30, 2026, the film promises Raimi’s signature tension, absurdity, and dark humor. “It’s weird, it’s wacky — and that’s what makes it great,” O’Brien recently said about the film.
