RBI appoints Kesavan Ramachandran as new Executive Director

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) appointed Kesavan Ramachandran as the Executive director with effect from July 1 2025, according to a statement.

Mr. Ramachandran will now head the Department of Regulation (Prudential Regulation Division).

He was serving as Principal Chief General Manager in Risk Monitoring Department. He has served the central bank for over three decades. He also served on the Board of Canara Bank for five years and one of the boards of ICAI.
