Hyderabad witnessed a striking show of solidarity on Sunday morning as the second edition of the Pink Power Run 2025 drew nearly 20,000 participants to Necklace Road here. The flagship initiative of the Sudha Reddy Foundation was aimed at raising awareness on breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
This year’s theme was ‘Stride & Shine’, built on the momentum of the first edition, blending fitness, community spirit and social responsibility. The races included 10 km, 5 km and 3 km categories, concluding with an awards ceremony. Substantial cash prizes were awarded, with the 10 km winners receiving ₹3.5 lakh, ₹2.5 lakh and ₹1.5 lakh, while the 5 km winners took home ₹2 lakh, ₹1.5 lakh and ₹1 lakh.
The run was inaugurated by philanthropist Sudha Reddy, managing director of MEIL Krishna Reddy, Miss World Organisation chairperson Julia Morley and tennis legend Leander Paes. Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata Chuangsri also marked her presence.
