Pulsar Suni and five others in the 2017 Kerala actor abduction and sexual assault case were sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. Each was fined ₹50,000, and the survivor was awarded ₹5 lakh. The Ernakulam Special Court held all six guilty of conspiracy, kidnapping, and gang rape. Judge Honey M. Varghese said the case did not warrant the maximum sentence. The ruling came three days after Malayalam actor Dileep was acquitted.
