The country’s largest iron ore producer, NMDC reported 27.85% increase in the output for the five months, ended August, to 18.45 MT (14.43 MT). Sales increased 12.90% to 18.37 MT (16.27 MT).
The company is eyeing a record 55 MT iron ore production in current fiscal. In 2024-25, the production stood at 44.04 MT, while in the previous fiscal it touched a record 45.2 MT.
