Naraen Pranav won the bronze in air rifle in the Junior World Cup shooting in Suhl, Germany, on Saturday (May 24, 2025).
After having topped qualification with 632.1, Naraen was overtaken by Huang Liwanlin of China and Brader Peiser of USA to the gold and silver respectively.
Huang, who beat, Brader by 0.3 point, put China on top of the medal table with two gold and a bronze,, ahead of France which had two gold.
India was in the third place with one gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
There was scope for more for India, as Ojasvi Thakur (633.2) and Shambhavi Kshirsagar (633.1) were in line for junior womenβs air rifle final.
