Minister warns schools over flouting class XII admission rules

The government will initiate stringent action against schools that conduct class XII admissions illegally, General Education Minister V. Sivankutty has warned.

He was speaking while inaugurating a meeting to constitute a reception committee for the successful conduct of school ‘praveshanolsavam’ at Kalavoor in Alappuzha on Monday.

“The State government has issued a circular regarding class XII admissions. Conducting admissions without adhering to it is illegal. The General Education department has the authority to cancel the recognition of schools that admit students in violation of government guidelines,” the Minister said.
