‘Mardaani 3’ trailer: Rani Mukerji battles a sinister child trafficking racket in action-packed film

The trailer of Rani Mukerji’s upcoming action-thriller, Mardaani 3 was unveiled by the makers on Monday, January 12, 2026. Directed by Abhiraj Minawal, and written by Aayush Gupta, the film also stars Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad in pivotal roles.

The trailer opens with a harrowing visual of a girl getting kidnapped. There is a disturbing stats which says, “thousand daughters go missing every week” in India. There is news of two girls getting kidnapped from Bulandshahr as Rani’s Shivani Shivaji Roy is called to Delhi’s NIA to investigate the case. As Shivani takes up charge, she realises that the racket goes deeper, handled by a mysterious, sinister middle-aged woman, Amma. In a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase, Shivani is seen battling Amma’s terror, who continues to use small children for her business. The film promises to be a hard-hitting action-thriller.

Sharing the trailer, the makers wrote, “It is a race against time & there will be no mercy. Shivani Shivaji Roy is back to rescue girls who go missing without a trace.”

Mardaani 3 has been shot by Artur Zurawski and edited by Yasha Jaidev Ramchandani. Produced by Aditya Chopra and Akshaye Widhani, it will be released in theatres on January 30.
