A video is going viral over the internet in which Pune DCP Sandeep Bhajibhakre is seen calming down a man, who has been hit by accident.
In the video we see a young boy, having seizures and is shaking uncontrollably. As per reports, the young boy was critically injured after being run over by a car at Jagtap Chowk in the Wanowrie area. The young man fell onto the road and was in serious condition.
Reports say, At that moment, Dr. Sandeep Bhajibhakre, Deputy Commissioner of Pune City Police, happened to be passing by. Acting swiftly, he reached the spot and administered first aid to the injured youth, effectively saving his life using his medical expertise.
The Deputy Commissioner’s quick thinking and skills have earned widespread praise for his heroic actions.
People have hailed the police officer for his timely action.

DCP Bhajibhakre’s action is a lesson for many.
In the video we see DCP Bhajibhakre slowly calming down the man and within a few minutes of the first aid, the man seems to have become normal.

Dr Sudhir Kumar, popularly known as the hyderabaddoctor on social media has identified the seizure and has shared a list of dos and don’ts for all.
Explaining the nature of seizure, Dr Kumar writes on X: The young man in the video is having an epileptic attack, also called fit or seizure. It is a generalized seizure attack, during which the person loses consciousness.
It is a brain disorder and can be treated well with medications (surgery may be needed in cases that do not respond well to anti-seizure medications).
