Optical Illusion: 20/20 vision test: Identify the odd word in just 30 seconds! | – Times of India

Optical illusions are captivating and engaging and trick our brains into witnessing something that is not present in front of us. These illusions play with our perception and challenge our cognitive abilities, which has made them a popular tool for testing the mental agility and observation skills of an individual. Arranging a certain series of images, patterns, and colours, strategically plays with the object which makes us rethink the scenario. The brain and eyes both get tricked into witnessing something that is not even present there. Now, how you perceive this proportion can be altered depending on the known objects which are around the frame. This process is not magic, but it is called an optical illusion.
It is though a real thing and is caused by the visual system followed by the characterization of a visual percept that arguably appears to be different from our reality. Usually, when something bad happens, our brain tries to come up with a reason for it. More specifically, our mind wishes to find something or someone to blame for this misfortune. Therefore, in this mere process, we twist reality in between to protect our self-esteem, leaving our brain perplexed with the situation, and creating a gobble witnessing the situation, until we do find the explanation for it.

Practicing Non-Attachment And Non-Aversion: Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 34

In today’s task, you will be checking your visibility. If you have a sharp eyesight then spot the wrong word amongst the word ‘Reading’ written in the image, against the black background. Stay calm, take deep breaths, and then move forward with your answer. But, amidst all the stress, do not forget that you have a strict timeline of 30 seconds. As the 30-second buzzer goes off, leave the situation and seek for the results. Also, do not randomly start looking out for the answer, but pick a certain direction and then move ahead with the answer, which would save you time.
