A one-day Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programme in orthodontics held in Thrissur on Sunday. Organised by the Kerala Orthodontic Study Group, in association with the Thrissur Orthodontic Study Group, the event drew around 200 delegates from across the country and abroad.
A keynote lecture by internationally acclaimed orthodontist Dr. Abhisek Ghosh focussed on the contemporary orthodontic practices and innovations.
A public awareness video focusing on orthodontics was released on the occasion. The video aims to enhance public understanding of orthodontic care and its significance in overall oral health.
Senior orthodontists Dr. PG Francis, Dr. Janardhanan, Dr. Chacko Thoppil, Dr. Joseph Varghese and Dr. Elbe Peter were felicitated at the function. The programme emphasised the importance of continued learning, collaboration, and public engagement in the field of orthodontics.
