‘Kantara Chapter 1’ which is the prequel to the 2022 film ‘Kantara’ released in cinemas on October 2 amidst much anticipation. While the film had already hit it out of the park in the advance bookings, the word of mouth around the film further led to growth and just as it completed its first week, it has sustained well at the box office all through. The film stars Rishab Shetty and is also directed by him. It also has Rukmini Vasanth in a key role. The film clashed with Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ but obviously, took the lead and there’s a huge difference between the numbers of both.
