The first trailer of ‘Jana Nayagan’ was released on Saturday amid massive fan frenzy. Directed by H Vinoth, the high-octane trailer of the film starring actor-politician Vijay, had fans brimming with excitement, with the launch coming just days ahead of the film’s theatrical debut next weekend.

Fans spot AI logo in trailer
Taking to X, one user alleged that the makers had used Google’s Gemini video editing software and failed to remove its watermark from the bottom-right corner. The post read, “telepathy vijay’s new movie jan neta is using gemini and not a single person noticed this.”
The claim can reportedly be verified by pausing the trailer at the 0.23-second mark, during a montage sequence showing the actor loading a shotgun.

It didn’t take too long before others joined in and shared their shock over ver the alleged use of AI-generated visuals. One wrote, “Using Google Gemini AI shots in the trailer even without removing Logo is Shocking!! Using AI for Such Simple Shots is alarming & Raising Doubts on filmmaking Standards!! Making these AI Films and exploiting Fans.”Another commented, “Could’ve atleast hired some good editors and blurred the star AI-Nayagan !! ??.” A third added, “AI has found its way into mainstream cinema, and spotted in one of the most awaited Tamil movie.”
