War 2: Kiara Advani to perform high octane action scenes in the Hrithik Roshan starrer: deets inside | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Kiara Advani will soon be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, where she will share the screen with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. The excitement is palpable, especially after recent reports revealed that Kiara will feature in a gripping ‘commando fight’ sequence in the film.

The highly awaited sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War is expected to deliver a thrilling spectacle.

According to Dainik Bhaskar, Kiara and Hrithik have already filmed their introduction scenes. Hrithik will be seen battling Japanese enemies at the renowned Shaolin Temple, while Kiara will exhibit her combat prowess in a dynamic fight sequence set in a shopping mall, filmed over four days at Infiniti Mall in Malad, Mumbai.
The report also gives details on Jr NTR’s planned grand entrance, which was initially scheduled to occur aboard a ship at Yash Raj Studios. However, due to the actor’s recent injury, the set is being dismantled, with filming set to resume in October.

Earlier, a source close to the project informed Pinkvilla that Ayan Mukerji and producer Aditya Chopra have meticulously crafted the War 2 script to stand out within the YRF Spy Universe. The film is expected to be darker and more intense than its predecessors, promising an unprecedented action experience. “Ayan Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have put a lot of thought into the script of War 2 to make it distinct from everything else in the YRF Spy Universe. It will be an action spectacle like never before, with a tone that’s darker and grittier, as hinted by the post-credit sequence of Kabir.”
War 2 will be the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, following successful films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is set for release on August 14, 2025, perfectly timed for India’s Independence Day celebrations.

While on War 2’s star Hrithik Roshan, he is all set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming spy thriller Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha features Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in lead roles, marking the latest addition to Yash Raj Films’ ever-expanding spy universe which features names like Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan, Salman Khan as Tiger and Katrina Kaif as Zoya.
Hrithik’s character, Kabir, was last seen in War, where his intense rivalry and eventual camaraderie with Tiger Shroff’s character, Khalid, kept audiences on the edge of their seats. His cameo in Alpha is expected to tie in various storylines from other films within this shared universe, which also includes movies like Ek Tha Tiger and Pathaan, thus creating an enviable crossover.
