K-Pop superstar Lisa of the iconic girl group BLACKPINK, is set to make her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3. In true ‘Rockstar’ fashion, the singer hit the red carpet of the premiere in a show-stopping lotus-inspired gown.
Lisa had all eyes on her when she hit the Los Angeles premiere, in a custom white sheer corset gown by Miss Sohee, complete with a yellow skirt and an actual white lotus in hand. The singer-turned-actress was seen beaming as she took her place with her co-stars and posed together for photos.
Later, the beauty switched things up for the after-party and rocked a chic black-and-tan Schiaparelli dress featuring a draped white skirt.
While the night was about celebrating her big Hollywood debut, Lisa made sure to bring her signature energy to the dance floor. A viral clip from the event shows the singer grooving effortlessly to Born Again, heating up the after-party with her moves and popstar swag.
Fans were quick to flood social media with praise, with many calling her “the queen” of the stage.
Ahead of the premiere, Lisa admitted to feeling both excited and nervous about her first major acting role. Speaking to Variety at the White Lotus Season 3 premiere held at Paramount Studios, she shared, “I don’t know what to feel right now. I’m just so excited. I can’t wait for all of you guys to watch this show.”
Despite her global fame as a Korean Pop Star, Lisa revealed that stepping into the world of acting was a daunting experience. She told Variety, “It is my first acting [experience], so I didn’t know what to expect on set. But everybody being so supportive helped me a lot, so thank you, everyone.”
The Thai-born singer also recalled her nerve-wracking first day on set, admitting that when director Mike White yelled “action,” she completely blanked. “I was so nervous. I was sweating. I was like, ‘I can’t remember my lines.’”
The White Lotus Season 3 is set to premiere on February 16.
