Priyanka Chopra has touched down in Odisha, fueling excitement as she continues shooting for SS Rajamouli’s anticipated film, SSMB 29. The actor, who recently returned to India, was spotted at Odisha airport, where she took time to pose with the airline crew upon arrival.
Dressed casually in grey denim jeans, a black tank top, a leather jacket, and a black cap, Priyanka had been in Hyderabad last month for the film’s shoot before briefly flying to Mumbai to attend her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding festivities.
Reports suggest that Rajamouli and his team have moved to Odisha for the next phase of the film’s production. Leaked pictures from the set recently surfaced online, featuring Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Priyanka. However, the filmmakers remain tight-lipped about the project’s details, including Mahesh Babu’s look, which has been kept under wraps.
The film, which began production in January with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad, is rumored to be an adventure thriller reminiscent of Indiana Jones. While the official title and full cast are yet to be announced, SSMB 29 is already making waves for its massive ₹1000 crore budget.
When asked about Priyanka’s involvement, her mother, Madhu Chopra, subtly confirmed the news, stating, “Vahin shooting pe hain voh” (She is shooting the film). This project would mark Priyanka’s awaited return to Indian cinema.
