Singer Neha Kakkar has found herself at the center of a heated controversy following her Melbourne concert, where chaos unfolded due to mismanagement. The singer arrived three hours late, faced boos from the audience, and was even asked to “leave.” In response, Neha apologized to the crowd and later blamed the organizers, Beats Production, for the fiasco.
However, the event producers hit back, releasing proof of financial losses amounting to $529,000. They denied Neha’s claims and provided a breakdown of expenses, including hotel bookings and multiple travel arrangements.
Neha’s cryptic response amid the backlash
As the controversy escalated, Neha took to social media with a cryptic post on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri, seemingly brushing off the allegations. She shared a series of pictures and wrote, “She’s Blessed Because There’s always Maa Goddess behind her!! Happy Navratri Everyone.”
While she did not directly address the organisers’ accusations, her post hinted at her confidence and resilience in the face of criticism.
Organisers demand compensation
Beats Production has insisted that Neha should compensate them for the losses they suffered due to her late arrival. They also alleged that her team engaged in unprofessional behavior, including smoking in the artist room at Crown Tower Sydney, leading to a ban on them from all Crown Towers properties.
A representative of the event stated, “We suffered a huge loss due to this event. Unlike what she claimed, we made every arrangement. She should be the one paying us compensation. It was a mistake having her on board.”
