Chidambaram and Jithu Madhavan, the directors of last year’s biggest hits from the Malayalam film industry, Manjummel Boysand Aavesham, are coming together for a new project.
Producer Venkat K Narayana’s KVN Productions is collaborating with Shailaja Desai Fenn’s Thespian Films for the untitled film which will be directed by Chidambaram and written by Jithu.
In a statement from the makers, Director Chidambaram said, “I’m thrilled to work with a team that shares my passion for storytelling. This collaboration is something i am looking forwrad too, can’t wait to bring this vision to life.”
Meanwhile, Jithu shared, “his script is close to my heart, and with the support of such a stellar team, I am sure we will make something good.”
While the film’s cast details are yet to be revealed, its technical crew details are out. Cinematographer Shyju Khalid, music composer Sushin Shyam and Vivek Harshan who worked with Chidambaram in Manjummel Boys are collaborating with the filmmaker for the upcoming film.
The film marks the Malayalam debut for the production house KVN Productions which has several biggies like KD in Kannada, the Yash-starrer Toxic, Vijay’s Thalapathy 69and an untitled Hindi thriller film with director Priyadarshan in different stages of development.
