Makers of the GD Naidu biopic with Madhavan

Looks like Madhavan is all set to star in another biopic! The actor, who recently starred and helmed Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, the biopic of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, will soon be playing Indian inventor and engineer GD Naidu.
Often called the Edison of India, the scientist’s biopic will be directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar. Following their National Award for Best Feature Film of 2022 for Rocketry, Varghese Moolan Pictures and Tricolour Films are reuniting again for this untitled film. Varghese Moolan, Vijay Moolan of Varghese Moolan Pictures, and R. Madhavan and Sarita Madhavan of Tricolour Films are bankrolling the project.
Filming of the Indian schedule begins this month in Coimbatore, GD Naidu’s birthplace. Aravind Kamalanathan is on board as both the film’s cinematographer and creative producer.
The film’s title will be revealed on February 18, and the remaining cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
