The first trailer for Love Me, a sci-fi drama featuring Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun, offers a glimpse into a post-human world where technology takes center stage. Directed and written by Sam and Andy Zuchero, the film explores themes of identity, connection, and transformation through a blend of live-action, animatronics, and classic animation.

Set in a future where humans have long been extinct, the story follows a digital buoy, voiced by Stewart, and a satellite, voiced by Yeun. These remnants of human innovation navigate a desolate Earth and orbit, seeking meaning and love with only the internet to guide them.

Kristen Stewart, speaking at Sundance earlier this year, described the film as a deeply personal exploration. “It’s about everyone… fears, insecurities, and the way we present ourselves. Watching it felt like seeing everyone I’ve ever met,” she told Deadline.

Love Me premiered to acclaim at Sundance 2024, winning the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize for its compelling focus on science and technology. The film’s unique narrative and visual storytelling have generated significant anticipation ahead of its U.S. theatrical release on January 31, 2025.
