Karan Singh Grover: Bipasha Basu’s Brutal Criticism and Emotional Reaction to his Performance in ‘Fighter’ | – Times of India

Karan Singh Grover shared the screen with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the Siddharth Anand directorial, ‘Fighter’. The movie received a lot of positive responses from viewers. In a recent revelation, Karan said that his wife Bipasha Basu helped him to a great extent by giving severe criticism and valuable feedback in his professional life.
In an interview with India Today, Karan shared that his performance in ‘Fighter’ left Bipasha teary-eyed. He added that Bipasha loved the movie and cried a lot during the interval. Even after knowing the story before watching it, she still could not hold back her emotions.
Karan further added that he and his friend were crying, and the more they tried pretending not to cry, the more energy it took out of them. Bipasha was so happy and said she is ‘proud’ of him for his portrayal with a balanced meter. She appreciated the way he held the character together in the movie, which was easy to become something else without much care.
At the same time, Karan mentioned that Bipasha also acts as a ‘brutal’ critic in his life. Her behavior of telling the truth without sugar coating helps the actor to improve himself. He stated that everyone needs a person in their lives who gives an honest review about them without thinking about how the other person will feel about it. And Karan said that Bipasha is the one for him.

The actor admitted that sometimes such straight reviews hurt him, but he loves the way she keeps her opinions unfiltered. Karan calls himself a sensitive person with his close people. But Bipasha will never make her comments less sharpened for him; she always says it in the real way.
Karan and Bipasha are enjoying their life together after being married for more than seven years now. The couple is blessed with a baby girl, Devi Basu Singh Grover.
