First look of ‘Irandu Vaanam’

Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal and director Ram Kumar are reuniting for a new film titled Irandu Vaanam, the makers announced on Saturday (March 15) with a first look. The film stars Premalu-fame Mamitha Baiju as the female lead.
In the first look, the two leads can be seen sitting on a cloud floating above a picturesque valley.
From the first look, Irandu Vaanam seems to be a romantic drama with a tinge of fantasy. Other details regarding the plot and the rest of the cast remain under wraps as of now.
Irandu Vaanam has music scored by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, cinematography by Dinesh K Babu and editing by San Lokesh. Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the project.
Ram Kumar and Vishnu previously collaborated on Mundasupatti (2014) and Ratsasan(2018). The upcoming film marks Ram’s return to direction after seven years.
Last seen in Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s social sports drama Lal Salaam, Vishnu has Aaryan, an untitled film with director Gokul, a film with director Arunraja Kamaraj, a film with director Sathish Selvakumar of Bachelor fame, and the long-delayed Mohandas in the pipeline.
Malayalam star Mamitha Baiju, catapulted into stardom for her performance alongside Naslen in Premalu, made her Tamil debut with GV Prakash Kumar’s Rebel. The star is also part of superstar Vijay’s final film, Jana Nayagan, which is currently in the making.
