Aamir Khan introduced his new partner, girlfriend Gauri Spratt, on his 60th birthday. Khan met the press in Mumbai on Thursday (March 13) to celebrate his birthday and was joined by Spratt.
Khan and Spratt first met 25 years ago and reconnected one-and-a-half years back. Spratt is a Bengaluru resident and currently works in Khan’s production banner. She has a six-year-old son.
Aamir Khan was previously married to Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta. Khan and Rao announced their separation in 2021.
During the press meet, Khan confirmed that he has begun work on his dream project, an adaptation of the Indian epic Mahabharata.
The actor’s upcoming film is Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par. The film’s release date will be announced soon.
“It’s a sequel to Taare Zameen Par but it has a different central character compared to the original. That film was emotional and made you cry. This will make you laugh. Sitare Zameen Par has a great thought. It’s futuristic in its own way,” Khan said.
The film is reportedly a remake of the French comedy-drama Campeones.
