Presidency University in Bengaluru organised an education fair on March 22 offering students an opportunity to explore international study options.
Over 60 universities from 14 countries participated, including renowned institutions such as University College London, King’s College London, University of Auckland, Macquarie University, UC Davis, and Indiana University.
The event, held at the university’s Yelahanka campus, aimed to provide students with direct access to representatives from these global educational institutions for guidance on pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD programmes abroad.
The fair attracted students from various schools and colleges in the city, who had the chance to interact with university representatives without relying on agents. The event was inaugurated by Vijayan Immanuel, Vice Chancellor of Presidency University, alongside Siva Perumal, Prof. Vice Chancellor, and Sameena Noor Ahmed Panali, Registrar.
Mr. Perumal emphasised the growing importance of globalization in higher education and expressed satisfaction at the strong turnout of both universities and students from Karnataka.
