Deputy Collector post to be created for disaster management in Wayanad, Idukki

The Cabinet meeting held here on Thursday decided to create a post of Deputy Collector for Disaster Management in Wayanad and Idukki, two districts highly vulnerable to natural disasters in the State. The post of Deputy Collector will be created for disaster management by abolishing each office attendant and typist post in the revenue administration in these districts, according to the Cabinet briefing.
