Critics Choice Awards 2026: ‘One Battle After Another’, ‘Adolescence’ take top prize, ‘Frankenstein’ and ‘Sinners’ also shine


The Critics Choice Awards 2026 were announced on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another won multiple awards, including Best Picture and Best Director while Leonardo Di Caprio lost the Best Actor honour to Timothee Chalamet forMarty Supreme.

Along with that, Ryan Coogler’s Sinnerswon the award for Best Original Screenplay along with Miles Caton getting the Best Young actress honour for the subversive vampire-drama.

While in Television, Adolescencewon the award for Best Limited Series while The Pitt bagged it for Best Drama Series.
