Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy condemned BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao’s remarks on the recently conducted Group-I examinations, alleging that Mr. Rama Rao was conspiring to block employment opportunities for the youth under the Congress government.

Responding to Mr. Rama Rao’s statement that the government had allegedly collected around ₹3 crore each from 563 candidates to secure their selection, the MP hit back saying, “Do you think 563 parents can afford to pay ₹3 crore each? Those who never provided jobs in their rule now want people to suffer simply because they lost power. You are misleading the youth of Telangana with false propaganda.”

Calling upon parents of selected candidates to respond, he urged them to expose Mr. Rama Rao’s false claims before the media. “Prove KTR’s words wrong, make videos, speak about your financial status, and clarify whether you ever paid such amounts. This is not about political parties, it’s about the future of your children,” Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy said.

The MP also criticised Mr. Rama Rao, saying a person who was educated in the USA, joined his father to become an MLA first and later also a Minister with a promise to serve Telangana, was trying to misguide the people with baseless statements. “This is nothing but political malice,” he said.

The Congress MP said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had worked sincerely to complete the Group-I exams and also other recruitment exams. He assured that the government was moving forward with honesty and expressed confidence that the legal hurdles would be cleared soon.

“We have taken legal advice to ensure that no hurdles arise in the examination process. The future of children and parents is at stake, and we are moving forward with honesty,” he said.
