Sankara Eye Foundation India (SEFI),a not-for-profit eye care service provider, will invest ₹100 crore to set up a super specialty eye hospital in Patna, in Bihar.
The new hospital, to be built on 1.60 acre in Kankarbagh, Patna would be equipped with advanced technology for eye care, the foundation said in a statement.
Dr. R.V. Ramani, Founder and Managing Trustee of Sankara Eye Foundation India (SEFI), said: “With the launch of Sankara Eye Hospital in Patna, we are bringing world-class ophthalmic care to regions where access has been limited. This facility will make sure that no person in Bihar is denied quality eye treatment on account of financial or geographical constrains.”
SEFI has an existing network of 14 hospitals in 10 states across the country.
