Anna University clarifies rationalisation of PG programmes


In response to a news article titled ‘Delay in Recruitment of Teachers Puts Anna University in a Tough Spot’, which was published on September 19, the Registrar of Anna University clarifies: Anna University has undertaken a strategic rationalisation and restructuring of its postgraduate (PG) programmes. It has introduced four new PG programmes, renamed four existing programmes, and increased or decreased the intake of students in 23 programmes depending on their performance while leaving the enrolment into 40 other programmes untouched.
