The race for the semifinals has reached a thrilling crescendo, and it just couldn’t get more intense and nerve-wracking as Australia, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are all still alive in contention. However, the weather looms as a wild card that could shuffle the deck as for Afghanistan, a washout would do the job. For Bangladesh, the equation is quite straight, they must not only secure victory but do so at breakneck speed. To leapfrog both Australia and Afghanistan in terms of NRR, they need to chase down the target in a mere 12.1 overs but they can level the score and hit a four or a six to do the job in 12.3 and 12.5 overs respectively.
