Hrithik Roshan talks about doing ‘Fighter’ with Siddharth Anand; spills the beans on ‘War 2’ with Ayan Mukerji | – Times of India

Hrithik Roshan, who is basking on the success of his latest film, ‘Fighter‘ with Deepika Padukone, recently opened up about working with Siddharth Anand. He also spilled some beans on ‘War 2‘ with Ayan Mukerji.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Hrithik was questioned about the comparison between his characters in Lakshya and Fighter. In response, the actor highlighted Siddharth’s attempt to bring something unique to Fighter. He mentioned that both characters adhere to certain rules. Hrithik initially chose Fighter because he wanted to expand Patty’s storyline (the character in Fighter) into something more substantial, depicting someone who challenges conventional norms. According to him, the larger-than-life roles he has played, especially the typical Hindi mass hero, always defy the rules and forge their own path.

Elaborating further, Hrithik also shared insights into Siddharth Anand’s approach in the film ‘Fighter.’ He explained that Siddharth Anand is venturing into new territory, deviating from his usual style. According to Hrithik, Siddharth is exploring a different tonality and using the actors as unique elements in a broader artistic landscape. While the film may not follow the emotional arc of a typical larger-than-life hero, it promises a beautiful canvas with characters unfolding gradually throughout the storyline.

Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor surprise fans as they visit theatre playing ‘Fighter’

Hrithik Roshan expressed his excitement about reprising his iconic role as Kabir from ‘War’ in the upcoming film, a part of YRF’s Spy Universe, titled ‘War 2.’ The movie, directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring Jr NTR, had audiences going wild when a glimpse of Kabir was shown during the end credits of ‘Tiger 3.’

In response to inquiries about his portrayal of Kabir in War 2, the actor expressed enthusiasm for the challenge. He acknowledged the lasting impact of Kabir and conveyed that portraying Kabir in a different light would be enjoyable and interesting. As the audience eagerly awaits the release of War 2 in 2025, the film is anticipated to surpass the box office success of its predecessor, War, which was the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2019, grossing over Rs 400 crores worldwide.
