Dean (Academics), Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT)–Andhra, Sravani Duvvuri, on Friday highlighted the growing relevance of quantum technologies in shaping the future of computing and urged students to strengthen their skills, adapt to emerging technologies, and embrace innovation as a lifelong pursuit.
She was speaking after inaugurating a 24-hour national-level hackathon titled “OMNITRIX 2025”, organised by the Department of Information Technology, Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education.
Dean of the School of Engineering, D. Venkata Rao, emphasised the role of hackathons in developing problem-solving abilities and teamwork among students. He encouraged participants to make full use of such platforms that transform ideas into impactful solutions and foster real-world technical and leadership skills.
Vice-Chancellor, P. Venkateswara Rao, stressed the importance of creative thinking and innovation in shaping the next generation of technologists.
Head of the Department of Information Technology, Dean (Research & Development) and IQAC, and Convener of OMNITRIX 2025, M. Suneetha, along with faculty coordinators Ch. Subba Reddy, M. Gargi, and G. Jaya Lakshmi, attended the event.
