The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) special court on Monday dismissed the bail petition of former Fire Services Director-General (DG) and CID Additional Director General (ADG) N. Sanjay.
Mr. Sanjay, who was arrested on charges of misappropriation of funds when he was heading CID, is in judicial custody in Vijayawada jail. Following the inquiry report submitted by the Vigilance and Enforcement department stating that funds were misused in CID during Sanjay’s tenure, the ACB police registered a case against the officer.
