Three arrested in alleged honey trap case

The Kozhikode City police arrested three persons, including two women, in a suspected case of honey trap on Monday (September 8, 2025). The accused are Gouri Nanda of Mavelikara, Anseena of Pananchery, and her husband Mohammed Hafeef.

Police sources said the three had secured ₹1.45 lakh recently from a youth after luring him into a well-planned honey trap at their rented house at Mavoor. They also captured nude pictures of the youth, the sources added.

The three were arrested on a petition moved by the youth.
