A woman suffered severe injuries when a crude bomb meant to cull wild boars exploded in Hulalalu village in Hunsur taluk of Mysuru district on Friday.
The victim was identified as Kamalamma, 55, who is suspected to have mistaken the crude explosive to arecanut and gave it a couple of blows to break it, triggering the explosion.
The victim was shifted to Mysuru for treatment.
