Nita Ambani: This is where Nita Ambani worked before her marriage to Mukesh Ambani | – Times of India

Nita Ambani might be known for being an important part of the Ambani family, but before that, this humble Gujarati girl was a school teacher. Nita Ambani worked in a school teaching kids before entering the Ambani household through her marriage to Mukesh Ambani, the elder son of Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani.
Nita Ambani has obtained her graduation from Narsee Monjee College Of Commerce And Economics.It was after this, that she became a teacher. Later on, Nita Ambani took an active part in opening several schools in the country. In November 2023, The Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (NMAJS) was launched in Mumbai. The school is located adjacent to the Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) campus at the Bandra-Kurla Complex.
Nita Ambani worked at Sunflower Nursery School. This was revealed by the couple on Simi Garewal show which aired several years ago. “As soon as we got married next year she was a school teacher at Sunflower Nursery,” Mukesh Ambani says to which Nita adds, “I was paid rupees 800 per month and all that salary was mine.”
An interesting part of the interview was when Nita revealed that she had a condition before marrying Mukesh, which was to allow her to continue her love for teaching. Nita continued teaching for several years after her marriage.
Various teaching initiatives taken by Nita Ambani
Reliance Foundation Schools: Nita Ambani has been instrumental in establishing Reliance Foundation Schools, which provide quality education to children from diverse backgrounds. These schools focus on holistic development and offer a nurturing environment for students to thrive academically and personally. The 14 Reliance Foundation Schools are located in Jamnagar, Surat, Vadodara, Dahej, Lodhivali, Nagothane, Nagpur and Navi Mumbai.
Dhirubhai Ambani International School: This is a K-12 co-educational International Day School. It was established in 2003. Nita Ambani is the Founder & Chairperson of the School. Over 1,000 students study in this school.

Nita Ambani is also a dance enthusiast. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She took up Bharatnatyam dancer from a very early age.
