The makers of Rana Naidu Season 2 have announced the premiere date of the web series. Starring Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati, the action drama is created by Karan Anshuman.

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal is the biggest addition to the second part. Directed by Karan Anshuman, Suparn Verma and Abhay Chopra, Rana Naidu Season 2 will drop on Netflix on June 13, 2025.

“After becoming one of Netflix India’s breakout hits of 2023, the series is set to raise the stakes with more betrayal, reckoning, and high-octane drama,” said the streaming platform in a statement. The second season is set to dive deeper into the chaos of family, power, and personal demons, according to the makers. The series also stars Surveen Chawla, Kriti Kharbanda, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee and Dino Morea.

An official adaptation of popular American series Ray Donovan, the show brought together the real life uncle-nephew duo for the first time. The first season followed the life of Rana Naidu (Rana), the go-to guy for everyone in Bollywood when they have a problem, and his tense equation with estranged father Naga (Venkatesh).

The Hindu review of the series said, “Beneath all that dressing up of sex, alcohol and expletives, Rana Naidu has an undercurrent of pathos. Cinematographer Jayakrishna Gummadi uses warm and dark tones to accentuate the grim atmosphere, aided by John Stewart Eduri’s background score.

There are a few rewarding payoffs towards the end of the 10-episode series. But overall, can Rana Naidu be better? Most definitely.” Karan Anshuman, Ryan Soares, Karmanya Ahuja, Ananya Mody, Karan Gour, and Vaibhav Vishal are the writers of the series.
