TVS Motor Company Ltd. reported a 67% growth in consolidated net profit to ₹648 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 from ₹387 crore in the year-earlier period.
Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter grew 17% year on year (YoY) to ₹11,542 crore ).
For FY25, the company reported 33% YoY growth in consolidated net profit at ₹2,236 crore. Consolidated annual revenue from operation grew 14% to ₹44,089 crore.
On a standalone basis, TVS Motor Company reported a 76% YoY growth in net profit at ₹852 crore for the quarter supported by higher other income, lower interest costs, and a favorable tax rate. The company reported standalone quarterly revenue of ₹9,550 crore, a 17% increase YoY.
Annual standalone net profit grew 30% YoY to ₹2,711 crore on revenue on ₹36,251 crore up 14% YoY.
During the quarter, the company said it recognised production linked incentive (PLI) pertaining to the full financial year 2024-25 based on the progress made in line with the MHI’s SOP on PLI.
During the year ended March 2025, the overall two and three-wheeler sales of company, grew by 13% at 47.44 lakh units as against 41.91 lakh units a year ago.
Motorcycles sales during the fiscal year grew by 10%, recording 21.95 lakh units as against 19.90 lakh unit in the previous year. Scooter sales during the fiscal year grew by 21% at 19.04 lakh units as against 15.70 lakh units in the year ended March 2024.
Electric vehicles grew 44% registering sales of 2.79 lakh units in FY25 as against 1.94 lakh units during FY24. Three-wheeler sales for the fiscal year was at 1.35 lakh units as against 1.46 lakh units in the year ended March 2024.
For the fourth quarter, the overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including exports, grew by 14% to 12.16 lakh units against 10.63 lakh units a year earlier.
Motorcycle sales for the quarter grew by 10% to 5.64 lakh units as against 5.11 lakh units in the same period last year. Scooter sales for the quarter grew 27% YoY to 5.02 lakh units.
Electric vehicle sales grew by 54% YoY to 0.76 lakh units Three-wheeler sales for the quarter grew by 21% YoY to 0.37 lakh units.
