Taant saree
Originating from West Bengal and usually worn by Bengali women, they are made from cotton thread, which makes them light, transparent, and comfortable. The earliest records of weaving sarees in Bengal date back to the 15th century in Shantipur; however, the art eventually flourished during the time of the Mughals.
